[cas-dev] CAS SOA Web Service?

I must first apologise if this has already been covered however I am
wishing to implement an Authentication service as a Web Service rather
than as a service on the web... hopefully that makes sence.  I have not
yet got my head around WS-Security specs but just wondering whether
anyone has give thought to this already, or has written wrapper to do
same.  I am guessing that most people would also need access control as
either part of that service, or as an additional service.  Any
information or pointers would be helpful.
