By the way, anyone out there will be interested or working to refactor 
the mod_auth_cas module to fit into the authz/authn framework of httpd-2.2?
We are started working on it and hope to set following goals.

* no authz code and so mix and match different mod_authz module
* refactor mod_auth_cas to use Apache and APR API where possible
* parse CAS2 response using APR XML API
* no separate code to sending request to CAS server and just let mod_proxy 
  module to handle the request.
