Dear all,

My name is Elisardo González and I am a member of the Signal Processing
Group at the University of Vigo (Spain). My research group is working on
several R&D projects related to biometrics.

We have worked with CAS in order to add support for web authentication
based on biometrics. For this purpose, we have developed a Java-client
that allows the use of any BioAPI-compliant software or devices (as UPEK
fingeprint scanners) in order to authenticate users. Furthermore, basic
face-verification mode based on webcam images of the user and/or voice
recording is provided.

Our system is available on the web for demo purposes: URL
https://www.webapps.gts.tsc.uvigo.es/BiometricCAS/login

To test the system you need:

1-    Access to our website
https://www.webapps.gts.tsc.uvigo.es/BioAuthWebServer/

2.- Create a new user, log in, and perform an enrollment session.
Our current version is offering several types of biometric enrollment
and verification: - BioPassword verification (dummy)
and UPEK fingerprint (commercial) require the BioAPI framework to be
installed;
        - face verification (beta - under development in our lab)
requires webcam;
        - voice verification (beta - under development in our lab)
requires microphone;
        - signature verification (dummy) would require a tablet in order
to obtain the dynamic signature of the user, though it is allowed to use
the mouse also for this purpose (called mouse signature verification).

3- Access to our modified version of CAS front-end with support
for biometrics going to
https://www.webapps.gts.tsc.uvigo.es/BiometricCAS/login.

If anyone is interested in collaborating with our project, please
contact with us.

Best regards,
   Elisardo González Agulla
