[cas-dev] A Thank You

CAS Developers-

Please excuse the brief interruption.  I'm writing, on behalf of the JA-SIG
board of directors, to thank you for all the good work.

After a recent conversation with Scott, I subscribed to the CAS lists.
While the JA-SIG board is definitely aware of CAS successes and milestones,
I was still struck by the depth and breadth of CAS activity.

CAS has clearly achieved impressive, broad distribution.  It's reputation
has pushed it beyond our original higher ed community into the commercial
sector, which is a great testimony to its quality and usefulness.  My point
is that this success is due to the commitment and talent of the CAS
developers.

I'm hoping we can continue to raise people's awareness of CAS through
conference presentations, newsletter articles, case studies, and the like.
There should be no question that CAS has a premiere place among JA-SIG -
sponsored projects, both current and future.
