[cas-dev] CAS Integration?

Hi,
	I have a very small app that would like to integrate with CAS ( ie  
instead of running a CAS and my app separately, I would like to make  
it as a simple application that has CAS+my app ( not sure if that  
make sense ).  The question that I have is what CAS API I can use in  
my app to check whether the user has been authenticated.  If not,  
what CAS API I can use to pass that user's name/password for  
authentication?  I know one of suggestion is to create a sort of  
IFRAME to redirect to CAS login page, but I rather not to create this  
frame but having my app to call straight to CAS.  Is this possible?  
is there any Doc I can reference?
