[cas-dev] CASBar: Toolbar for Firefox 2

Hello, I am new to CAS-DEV, long time listener, first time caller...

The first version of a new CAS client has now been committed to
subversion.  The aim is to provide a generic Firefox toolbar to enable
better integration of the Firefox 2 browser with an institutions' CAS
server instance and associate CASified web applications.

I am only just learning about writing Firefox toolbars (using XUL and
XPCOM) so I would very much welcome collaboration with people with
established expertise in these areas.

The next stage in development will probably focus upon providing
customisable user preferences.  So one possibility is that an
institution's CAS server and the URLs for CASified portal, webmail and
calendar clients could be pre-configured in a toolbar instance and
additional services could be maintainable via user options.
