[cas-dev] CAS Governance Model Request for Comment

Dear CAS Community,

The CAS Developers in conjunction with some other members of the wider JASIG
community have proposed an initial draft of a Governance Model for the CAS
project so that the project continues to ensure that it receives proper
guidance, support, direction, and better interacts with the developer and
wider JASIG community.

You've probably seen informal requests for comment. We now feel that the
governance model is at a sufficient state to open it up for a request for
comments.  This request for comments period will range from today, July 28,
2008 and close at August 8, 2008 5:00 pm Eastern.  We will propose the
governance model to the JASIG Board at their upcoming August 2008 meeting.
