[cas-dev] Upgrading to JGroups 2.5

Scott,

As soon as I get a break to try it on my sandbox server, I will let you
know what I find out. I was curious since the
cas-server-integration-jboss POM explicitly called for jgroups-2.4.1, so
it seemed that it wasn't a requirement of jboss cache. Do you happen to
know why jgroups-2.4.1 was chosen at the time? Latest available?

Thanks!

I looked into upgrading to JBossCache 2 and was having some issues with
it. I'm not sure if we can upgrade to JGroups 2.5 without upgrading to
JBoss Cache. There is one easy way to try, just drop the jar in with
your current deployment and see what breaks ;-)

Are there any plans on upgrading from JGroups 2.4.1 to a more recent
version? I ask because of the improvements JGroups made in terms of the
concurrent stack
(http://www.jgroups.org/javagroupsnew/docs/manual/html_single/index.html
#d0e2801). Would this require JBoss Cache to be upgraded to version
2.0?

Thanks,
