All-

In the past few months, we've gotten a few notes from people packaging
mod_auth_cas for various Linux distributions. A few of these packaging
efforts have been proposed for inclusion in the official repositories,
which we are excited about. I am currently aware of efforts toward
inclusion in Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora - and in at least one case, I
know of multiple disjoint efforts toward the same goal.

If you are creating packages, please send a note to the list to let us
know. I'd like to encourage collaboration if multiple people are
working on packaging for the same distro. I'd also like to make sure
that distro-local m-a-c modifications are considered upstream, as they
are likely applicable globally. And if you are a package maintainer for
m-a-c, we ask that you make sure that bug reports filed against the
package make it into the JA-SIG Issue Tracker [1].

And of course, we are open to contributions of all sorts, so please
let us know if you would like to help.

Thank you all,
-Matt
