[cas-dev] CAS Steering Committee Technical Representative

CAS Committers,

The CAS Steering Committee voting process is currently in-progress and
scheduled to end and a little over a week.  In order to announce everything
at the same time, we, as committers, need to choose a technical
representative as we see fit (short of having a duel to decide ;-)).

Anyone interested in being the technical representative should let the list
know by Friday.  Currently, the list of CAS Developers is: sbattaglia,
alesueur, velpi, serac and they are the only people eligible for
consideration for the Technical Representative.  Part of the job of the
Steering Committee will be to work to increase the number of committers, as
detailed in the CAS4 Development plan.

If there is more than one candidate, we'll allow the committers to vote
(which hopefully doesn't result in an even split since there are only 4
active committers)

Its also safe to assume that I'm interested in the position :-)
