[cas-dev] [newbie] How to casify a URL?

CAS gurus,

Apologies for this basic Q:

I have a simple requirement of casifying (3.3.1 ver) of an external application.
Lets say I have a URL to be protected and dont have access to web.xml or sorts of,
of the actual webapp. In this case how do I casify, so that when users are accessing that
app via that URL, get authenticated and then access the app. How easy is it? Where does cas-client
reside? How is it configured?

Would appreciate if any one can point me to a relevant example.

PS: I am able to casify web-apps for which I have access to web.xml (and hence source/war files)
