ssl certificate

hello,
 
I've just configure tomcat to use ssl.
but i've got a problem with certificate
The date of the certificate is not valid.
I say  yes to continue.
And then i've got an error with cas-client:
 
javax.servlet.ServletException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Couldn't find trusted certificate
	at edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.filter.CASFilter.getAuthenticatedUser(Unknown Source)
	at edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.filter.CASFilter.doFilter(Unknown Source)

what can i do to resolve this problem ?
