Server Specs for CAS Systems in Production

Hi everyone,

We're attempting to put together a page to help future deployers plan 
for a CAS deployment, specifically picking out the correct hardware for 
their expected load.  To that end, we're interested in what people are 
running out in production at their organizations so as to provide this 
information for others to use.

Specifically, we're looking for any of the following information:
1. Version of CAS (2.x, 3.x)
2. Hardware and Setup (Load balance, warm standby, etc.); i.e. Two Sun 
V240's in a warm standby mode
3. Current load (i.e. 50,000 authentications per day, at peak we have 40 
a second)
4. How CAS compares (in terms of performance or required hardware) to 
any other SSO you've deployed or looked at
