interoperability of clients / backends

Hi,

have I got the chance, to test interoperability with other clients?
Would it not be good, if every client e.g. perl or php would offer live testpages on their sites to authenticate against a CAS Testserver and call beckend-services?
e.g. a PHP Testpage calling a perl-service? Or a Java-Client calling (proxied) a PHP-XML-RPC function.

Maybe this already exists and I only do not know, but then: please tell.
