gmane gateway to the mailing lists

The gmane gateway is now getting the user and dev mailing lists.
The NNTP interface is particularly handy since you can follow (and 
post!) what's going on in a threaded interface without actually subscribing.

It is possible to upload the archives of past posts into gmane, though I 
think one needs to be a list admin to get the archives. See
