"Legacy" support for CAS2 PasswordHandlers in CAS 3.1

I'd like to get the opinion of the CAS community on this.  Since CAS
3.0.xwe've included "adaptors" to support PasswordHandlers from CAS 2.
 Since
then we've included a large number of AuthenticationHandlers in CAS 3 (based
off the GenericHandler project with a few more contributed by others).
Based on this do we need to continue to include support for CAS 2
PasswordHandlers in CAS 3.1?
