CAS under multiple tomcat instances

Hello!

The standard installation that we have is a single Apache server, which
delegates work to (different) Tomcat instances based on the URL
provided, all configured
in the worker.properties
We would like to use the single-sign-on but we don't have no one
experience in this
subject.

We would like to make a demonstration to our team, explaining
capabilities of CAS.

Is it possible use single sing-on if applications are under different
tomcat instances?

Could you help us?
