CAS Validation Response Problems

I am using the CAS validation service by passing the ticket and the
service url. I am getting the response but I am having problems while
creating a DOM object of the response.

The error is [Fatal Error] :-1:-1: Premature end of file. Following is
what I am getting back from CAS.

I am not sure why there is space between the cas:user and the final tag.
May be this is causing the problem???

Any clue?
