CAS unicode/utf-8 characters

Hello,
Yes I did:
native2ascii -encoding UTF-8 utf.txt result.txt
It also transformed the characters into things such as: \u0119

Did you specify -encoding option like:
$ native2ascii -encoding UTF-8 $filename.UTF-8 $filename
