It could be that your code isn't setting the acs url correctly.

Are you using CAS 3.0.x?  If so, I just recently did this integration a
few weeks ago.  I'll be happy to share my code.  I rewrote the sample
code google provided using spring webflow.

I haven't tested the recent support for this in 3.1.
