Vinaya,

I apologize that this won't initially be as detailed as you need,
however it will be a start. Here is a rough outline of the big steps in
getting CAS up and running:

1.	Determine what you are going to authenticate your users against
(Active Directory, LDAP, etc)
2.	Download and install the necessary CAS server requirements
<http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/server/installing/index.html>
3.	Download
<http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/downloads/index.html> and install
<http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/server/installing/index.html> CAS
server and set up the appropriate authentication handler
4.	Download
<http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/downloads/index.html> the necessary
CAS client for the application or development environment.
5.	As for how to setup your applications, you will have to be
specific on what type of applications you are trying to CAS-ify. What
are they written in? Are they third-party applications?

Hope this gets you on a start atleast. =P Make sure to check out the
CAS wiki <http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CAS/Home> as it is has
more information about how CAS works, configuration how-tos, and other
helpful information.

Hope this helps,

A-
