Ok, the following command did the trick:

svn co https://www.ja-sig.org/svn/cas3/tags/cas-3-1-rc2/ -r 42148

But the problem still remains while trying to package cas-server-core

mvn package
...
Results :

Failed tests:
  testSaveAndGet(org.jasig.cas.services.DefaultServicesManagerImplTests)

testDeleteService(org.jasig.cas.services.web.ManageRegisteredServicesMultiActionControllerTests)

Tests in error:

testResponse(org.jasig.cas.authentication.principal.GoogleAccountsServiceTests)

testWithGoogleAccountsService(org.jasig.cas.web.flow.DynamicRedirectViewSelectorTests)

testEditRegisteredServiceWithValues(org.jasig.cas.services.web.RegisteredServiceSimpleFormControllerTests)
