Adding mac'ed ipaddr to cookie

Hi,

I am looking into adding a one-way hash coded ip addr to the browser
cookie. I looked in the cas list archives and did not see anything. I'm
using cas3, and it seems spring creates the cookie and I can't get ahold
of it to add anything. Does this whole idea make any sense to block
unintended cookie holders or is it un-necessary? If its a valid thing to
do has anyone done this, and how?
