CAS and SunGard's version of uPortal

All the documentation that SunGard Higher Education has says that
Luminis's implementation of CAS will not work with an external CAS
server.  I think what you are trying to do will be the best bet but
I'm unsure that it will work.  They have modified CAS and uPortal to
fit into the security requirements felt necessary for the Luminis
product which means that some of the config files are not necessarily
in the same place that they would be in a stock implementation of
those products. The way that Luminis performs logins and authenticates
and such have all been modified from uPortal so this kind of a setting
may not be available.

FYI - I think Luminis 3.3.x is built on uPortal 2.3x mostly.

I have yet to configure Luminis to work with CAS so I'm afraid I
cannot immediately help you too much, however, this is one my goals to
get more up to speed on very soon.
