Using CAS without modify existing applications?

It all depends on how the vendor has set up the application. Some leverage
J2EE standard methods or expose plug-in points for you to swap
authentication methods (we've successfully CASified applications such as
Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo even though they are properiety applications).
