cas Digest, Vol 52, Issue 19(RE: CAS JASIG filter not working for me)

Tom,

I asked because I was looking at your client settings and noticed you
had them going to non-standard ports (8443 and 3001). If you were using
Apache HTTPD in front of Tomcat then it would have gone through 443 and
then over the mod_jk / mod_proxy_ajp module.

I am using the JA-SIG CAS client for Java as servlet filters, and your
configuration seems fine to me. I am curious as to why JRun is ignoring
the filters. Just curious about JRun, I looked it up at Adobe and lists
it as using the 2.3 Servlet specification, which is equivalent to Apache
Tomcat 4.1

I will let you know if I seem something else. =P

Andrew,
No apache in the front. Specifically it's being "fronted" by whatever
Jrun (Macromedia/Adobe... don't cringe) uses as a servlet container. I
think it's their own home grown one. I would consider using apache-auth
or the IIS client if I must. I just thought the servlet filter was the
most straight forward.
Tom

I take you aren't front-ending Apache Tomcat with Apache HTTPD for
connections, are you?
