CAS and SunGard's version of uPortal

Hey all,

I am in need of a little help with figuring out just how several pieces of
software should all fit together. 

We are a Banner school, and are in the process of rolling out the SCT (or
SunGardHE, or whatever they call themselves now) Luminis portal.  We have an
existing CAS 3.1 server (much thanks to Mr. Battaglia!), that we have setup in
large part for the new Google Apps integration.

We would like to use this existing CAS server as our central SSO login server,
but Luminis comes with a built-in implementation of a CAS server (not sure what
version, but it is probably very old).  Is it possible for "our" CAS server to
trust the tickets granted by the Luminis CAS server (this was suggested on the
lumbdev.net forums), and if so, where is the documentation for doing so?
