Login fails after 2 incorrect password attempts

Evening,

We have found an interesting behavior in our CAS deployment. When a  
users enters an incorrect password 2 times in a row and then enters  
the correct password CAS directs them to the login page, and does not  
send them to the page requesting authentication.

We are running 3.2.1 using Sun JDK 1.5.0.12 under Redhat EL5.2 and  
Tomcat 5.

Has anyone else seen this issue?
