Thanks for these details.
May I suggest this to be documented in the README accompanying the
source ?
Both the use of REMOTE_USER (which is kind of "standard", but nor
explicit) and of CASAuthNHeader ?
In the meantime, I added some more details about this in :

Feel free to fix if I didn't understand something, or not proper place
