Trenton,
What argument to CASAuthNHeader are you using?
Also, do you have debug logs? When does this occur? Service validation, initial redirection, etc. etc.

Subject: CASAuthNHeader bizzare behaviour
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to use the special user header feature of mod_auth_cas, and I'm getting extremely odd behaviour. Whenever I try to set it, I get redirected to login.example.com....., which is the default login site if you haven't configured one. When I comment out the CASAuthNHeader line, everything works just fine.
I took a quick look at the code, and I couldn't see anything obviously wrong.
I'm using RC2 of 1.0.7
Any ideas?
