Adding netid to casGenericSuccess view

Like some others that have posted before me, I'd like to add the netid to the
login success / confirmation page.

As far as I can see there is no easy or built-in way to do that.

Can that really be true?

If it is true, then why? Is there a reason that it would be bad to show the
netid in the login confirmation page?
