I downloaded the CAS war file and didn't change it's name. Obviously,
it's strange to have a version name in the URL and removing it would be
a good thing. Does that involve anything more than naming the .war file?

I'm not. Should I be doing so? I was hoping to just install CAS and use
it - after configuring it to use LDAP of course.
If it is recommended that I should actually build CAS to use it then
that might put some people (here) off. I really need to be able to get
this up and running with a basic LDAP authorisation so that I can demo
it. If I need to build and tweak things afterwards then that'll probably
be O.K. - if I can figure out what I need to so. Is what I am trying to
do achievable?
Cheers
