retrieve server response issue

So I've looked at it today for a little bit. It appears that either the
request isn't being sent to the server correctly or that the server isn't
reading the ArtifactAssertion from the assertion correctly. Using Eclipse
Debugger does not make it obvious who is at fault.
I may have to turn on Tomcat's debug which generates about 8 mb of
information which isn't always fun ;-)
