CAS Server Deployment Steps

So, I'm trying to determine the basic steps to deploy a CAS server,
and here is what I am thinking.

1. download the latest cas server software
2. configure the source in cas-server-webapp as desired
3. rebuild the cas war file (with mvn package - from cas-server-webapp)
4. copy the new cas.war from target into the tomcat webapps directory
5. check it out at http://my.host.com/cas/login

Does that sound about right?  Did I miss anything?
