CAS can help?

Hi,

I am very new to CAS solution and I am still evaluating this approach.

1. My company has several websites with login (user name and password), 
developed by different languages such as php, Java and mysql databases.
Now we want to create a single sign-on for all these websites so that 
the users are no need to login seperately.
I don't know if CAS can provide solution for that. Any advice?

2. I just play the CAS below in my workstation. It works. However, I 
used cas-server-3.0.7.zip from http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CASUM/Demo
If I start to use CAS, I think you will suggest me download the latest 
version from CAS. But, how can I merge cas-server-3.0.7 into the latest 
ones in example above. I don't see cas.war in the latest version 
cas-server-3.2

3. If I start to use CAS for my company's SSO, can you tell me step by 
step how to start to setup. I mean from the very beginning.
