Best practice for CAS load balance/failover

Read that 3x and its not sinking in. Can you help me?

Let's say I put some CAS servers on two different class C nets and  
somehow put them behind a load balancer, then if they're both within  
my overall netblock and on the same domain, is there anything I need  
to configure to make SSOn work? How 'bout SSOut?
