cas client

I have installed opensaml-1.1b and the installation is successful, but when I try to access the sample mywebapp explained here:

I got again the NullPointerException.

I have applied the patch into src/main/java/org/jasig/cas/client/util/HttpServletRequestWrapperFilter.java from cas client directory, and restart tomcat. Again, the same NullPointerException appears. What I'm doing wrong??
 
Do I have to install Xerces, or just taking the jars after unpacking it and placing them manually in mywebapp.war is sufficient?
