An honest and ethical solicitation

Hi everyone:

I've personally started a group on LinkedIn called IT Quality and
Security Practice.  I am asking everyone that's a LinkedIn member take
a look and if you agree, please join.  This is very important to me
and while it's an agenda, it's an honest agenda.  I run a business and
I stand behind open source because it's done right.  There are
however, those in the proprietary and open source communities that do
not believe in openness in technology.  I have spent many years trying
to convince executives and managers that open source is a viable
solution.

Open source should share the same quality level as commercial
applications and systems.  Any deviation and the perception is
negative.  I want to badge all the open source communities that I
support and calm the fears of the companies I would consult.  I'm
presently fighting the open source vs. commercial issue now with a US,
state government organization.  And, CAS is poised to be replaced with
an Oracle product that they purchased and branded.
