MemCacheTicketRegistry backwards compatibility with CAS 3.2 series

I know the MemCacheTicketRegistry feature is a part of the CAS 3.3 series,
however I was curious whether it is backwards compatible with the CAS 3.2
series.  We are interested in its potential, however I don¹t know if we are
at a point where we can just upgrade to CAS 3.3.
