Best practice CAS - PHP - mod_auth_cas ?

You should deploy CAS as you normally would. For your PHP applications you
can either modify them to use the phpCAS client or front them with Apache
and mod_auth_cas. They both have their pros and cons and whichever one
you're more comfortable doing should win (as long as you don't need proxying
which I believe mod_auth_cas currently doesn't support).
