cas monitoring

Hello,

We're using an old CAS server (2.0.7) which I'd like to keep an eye on from
our monitoring tool.

I thought I could do a check by automating a connection on the web login
page, but there's a hidden field that contains a random value.

Do you know a trick I could use to automate this test with some command line
tool ? (I could check that the CAS server is online, but I also want to
check the authentication).
